Essay map
Opening scene
Anecdote
A stamp on a passport and a night meeting about a list. Inclusive India is a Preamble word. CAA is a statute that named religions for a fast path from some countries. The essay must hold both the refugee and the citizen who feared a test. Inclusion is equal procedure, not a rumour about a neighbour. A law that sorts belonging must still face Article 14 in the street.
Keep this in every paragraph
One stand
- Legal: 1955 Act amendment, a cut-off, a country list. Inclusive: Ambedkar’s equal citizenship. NRC talk as a cousin fear — flag, don’t mash if you are not sure of the Gazette.
Use once, in a scene — do not dump names
Quotes to earn
-
Ambedkar
Equal citizenship as the inclusion.
Turn each heading into a full paragraph in the hall

What the line is asking
- CAA as a law. Inclusive India as a constitutional project.
Claim / fear
- Persecution next door. A domestic equality anxiety.
The counter
Foreigners tribunals’ quality. A secular republic that still owes a non-religious persecution path (a Rohingya debate) — one honest line.
Procedure, not a rumour
- CAA as a dated fact; NRC talk as a fear — write without a rant and without a hymn.
- Inclusive India: a document the poor can actually produce.
- Neighbourhood persecution is real; a domestic othering is also real.
- Equal procedure is the stand.
Drop one peg where it fits — not a data dump
Value addition
- Citizenship Act / CAA The legal file — accurate, short.
- Art. 14 / 15 / Preamble Inclusive India’s roof.
- Refugee / UN cousin India’s practice vs a treaty — one line.
- Assam / NRC cousin Fear as a political fact — cool, distinct from CAA if you can.
Last 8–10 lines in the exam
Last paragraph
The Citizenship Amendment Act and inclusive India meet where a document is asked of a person who may not have a grandfather’s paper. Persecution next door is a fact a republic may answer. A rumour that sorts a neighbour in a UP lane is also a fact a republic must refuse. Inclusion is equal procedure: a hearing, a legal aid, a police that is not a census of hate. Do not write a party pamphlet. Close on inclusion as a process the last person can survive, not as a slogan. That is citizenship as a calm file.
