Summary. Official key is (d) 2 February. The question asks for the date recognized globally as World Wetlands Day. Options (a), (b), and (c) suggest incorrect dates associated with other observances or arbitrary days. Option (d) correctly identifies 2 February, commemorating the signing of the Ramsar Convention in 1971. This international treaty provides the framework for national action and international cooperation for the conservation of wetlands. Therefore, (d) is the right answer.
