Summary. Official key is (a) because the Badua Dam is situated in Bihar rather than Uttar Pradesh. The other listed dams namely Adwa, Baghelkhand, and Ahraura are all located within the state of Uttar Pradesh. Aspirants often confuse minor irrigation projects across neighboring states like Bihar and Madhya Pradesh. Careful geographical mapping of regional reservoirs helps eliminate such confusion during examinations. Thus option (a) is definitively the right answer.
