Correct answer: (c) Gurugram
Explanation
- A
Paris
Paris is associated with the UNFCCC/Paris Agreement, not with the standing Secretariat of the International Solar Alliance. ISA is an India-France initiative whose secretariat is in India.
- B
New Delhi
New Delhi is the political capital and hosts many missions, but the ISA Secretariat is at Gurugram, not inside New Delhi as the named seat.
- C
Gurugram
The Secretariat of the International Solar Alliance is at Gurugram (Haryana), in the National Capital Region. That is the official key.
- D
Methane
‘Methane’ is a garbled leftover option from the previous question and is not a place. It cannot be the seat of ISA.
Summary. Official key is (c) Gurugram. ISA, launched at COP21 by India and France, keeps its secretariat in Gurugram. Paris is the climate-accord city, not the ISA office.
